Being in any small way, a part of a wedding day, is a great honour for us. It is not something we take lightly. Everything has to be just right. Everything we do must seem effortless, so that all can concentrate on the only truly important thing; the wedding couple. Though in France these ceremonies can last days, each detail is still a memory and so is of the utmost importance.

As each couple are unique, so must their wedding be. Cutlers & Bakers halls are just that, and to this magnificent canvas we can add different looks, different menus, photographers, quiet rooms, florists, bands, in fact anything that your heart desires to make your day astounding.

Each page of our brochure addresses one particular aspect of the day and gives you a wide choice, but our Wedding Organiser will always be at hand to help and guide you through the details (and will be there for the big event as well!).

The Ceremony
  • The Blanc Banquet Halls are to be licensed for Civil Marriages and Civil Partnerships.
  • The vaulted ceilings lend a grand aura making either Hall a breathtaking venue for you special ceremony.
  • Both Halls have separate entrances, enabling us to provide all the the exclusivity that you require.
  • Whether you want 40 guests or 140, our dedicated wedding organiser will help you plan the perfect layout.
  • We can also help you plan for the ceremony by recommending licensed celebrants.
  • Included in the Hall hire is the use of our chairs for the service, with complimentary use of our classic white chair covers. Of course, the chairs are beautiful enough to use without covers and our florists will be happy to recommend different ways to dress both the chairs and the Halls.
  • The stunning architecture means there are ample photographic possibilities, both inside and in our beautiful courtyard.
  • The Courtyard, between the two halls, is also an ideal spot to keep your guests entertained with post ceremony drinks and canapés, whilst you are busy with the photographer.
The Reception

We understand that the look of the entire wedding needs to be pulled together, but hiring of the correct crockery, cutlery, tablecloths, chair covers etc. can all be extremely expensive. That’s why we have included a lot of this in our standard package, leaving room in your budget to customize things, giving the final result and individual style that reflects you.

So what does our package include?

  • A dedicated wedding organiser from the day you first enquire to the day of your wedding, and for all the days, questions, phone calls, advice and meetings in between.
  • A license for civil marriages and partnerships so that you have the option of having the ceremony in one hall with its own entrance, and the reception in another hall, also with its own entrance.
  • Beautiful architecture inside and out, providing plenty of atmosphere and photographic opportunities.
  • Fully licensed reception venue with its own bar and entrance hall.
  • A supervising manager on duty on the day, exclusively for your function.
The Food
  • Renowned chef Raymond Blanc is the man behind the Brasserie Blanc name.
  • He is wildly passionate about food, where it comes from, how we cook it, how it looks and most of all how it tastes.
  • We all share the same passion, which we bring to each and every wedding we do.
  • This excellent standard ensures that the food is not just an afterthought but an important and integral part of the celebration.
  • You will find that our menus reflect what is seasonally available and our suppliers are carefully sourced to maintain Raymond’s high standards.
  • The Halls have their own dedicated kitchen and a special team of Brasserie Blanc chefs will prepare your choices on the day.
  • Should you have any guests with special dietary requirements, our chefs will be happy to discuss these with you.
  • We are able to provide vegetarian alternatives as well as gluten, dairy or nut free menus.

If you can’t find exactly what you have in mind for your day, our Head Chef will be happy to personally tailor a menu for you.

Both halls are fully licensed.

It is also possible to hire the Halls and bring in your own caterers if we cannot provide what you require. For example, Halal or Kosher food. Use of the fully equipped on site kitchen can also be arranged. Please speak to our wedding organiser if you would like to discuss this as certain conditions apply.
